Quick and easy to program. No switches to flip, just press the purple button on the back of your opener and press the desired button on the remote. I like the three button style. I have a three car garage with two doors. The large button opens the two-door; the lined, smaller button opens the single door. The third button I use to control the light in the single stall. Extremely convenient and easy to use. If you can't do it, I would say you probably have the wrong unit for your opener (check the color of the button on your opener, it should be purple for this remote to work).

It was very easy to program and the instructions provided were very clear. Range is decent for the cold weather (approx. 30-40 ft) and will only get better as it gets warmer. I use the big button for the garage door and one of the smaller buttons for the lights. It also clips on to my sun visor pretty snug and does not move around.
My only complaint is that it is now a dollar cheaper than it was last week.

This garage door remote works as indicated with our current door opener; however, when it came it had a dead battery. Once we replaced the battery, it was easy to program and has been working well since.
