This is the second invincible tornado car I have purchased. The first one was pretty durable for my six year old. His dad actually broke it by accident. So, I thought I'd buy him another. I went to amazon because I didn't have access to where I'd bought it originally. However, this IS NOT the toy I'd originally bought. The original toy was fun and quiet. This one has annoying music. What's really bad is you can't turn the music off and still play with the toy. Not the seller's fault, I didn't know it wasn't the same car. Unfortunately that's the bad part of amazon-no description of the item. The toy did arrive timely as said and it was in good shape. I just hate the music and now I'm stuck with it. So, I'm not happy but what can you do?

I got this as a gag/fun gift. The version i received was red. The battery came with a partial charge; enough to give it a good function check and make sure your item isn't defective. You get the disco on wheels(vehicle) along with the rechargeable battery and charger and remote unit(no battery included) which runs on a 9volt. The car battery pack fits into the compartment under the vehicle chassis which needs a phillips(+)head screwdriver. There was also a small square opening cut into the bottom of my vehicle which was printed for some other means of power it seems. Just a hole, doesn't impair function, but it's a statement of quality. You slide the switch(under the car) to on and it starts up the roughly 8 second music clip. It's a techno version of "Axle F"('Beverly Hills Cop' theme song). Then turn on the remote and have at it.
